Who is Janmck Hilado?

Janmck Hilado is a college dropout (took BS Nursing) in Cebu who discovered and pursue his passion for entrepreneurism at a very young age and never looked back.  The good thing about Janmck is his family supports him all the way. Most parents negate the thought of their kids dropping out from school to pursue their dreams but in Janmck’s case, it’s completely different. Parents are the best motivators (or demotivators) to their kids and he’s lucky to have gotten all the support from his folks.

I first learned of Janmck Hilado when I ventured into the world of internet marketing. I was searching for internet marketers based in Cebu/Philippines and his name came out on the front page of Google. You see, it’s a challenge to get your website or blog on the first page of Google if you do not know anything about SEO (search engine optimization) so I thought this kid knows what he’s doing. I became a follower and finally had the chance to meet him in person when his team organized the first “Money Magnet Seminar” by one of the best motivational speakers in the Philippines today, Mr. John Calub.

Janmck Hilado has come a long way from internet marketing to network marketing and some other lucrative ventures. Since dropping from school, he’s been rollin’ and making waves after waves of money in whatever he’s venturing into. Dealing With Negative People in 5 Surprisingly Easy Ways

dealing with negative peopleDealing with negative people has always been a struggle for most people. One sad thing about the network marketing industry is there are so many negative energy(people) surrounding it.

Your friends and your family are probably the main people who are against your network marketing business. If so, you’re not alone. Most networkers experience the same challenge.

If you see the trend here, the most negative people are always the ones closest to you. Why? Perhaps one of the reasons is they are not used to thinking that you can become a successful entrepreneur. You’ve been together for a long time and they must be wondering how a stubborn young kid or a drunkard friend can end up successful in network marketing or any business.

This happened to me too. But amidst all the negativity surrounding me, I was able to overcome it. Here are my tested and proven ways in dealing with negative people:

1. Hang Out With Like-Minded People – When I decided to become an entrepreneur, I just had a strong feeling that I will become successful someday. A lot of my friends, who were also my drinking buddies, laugh at me and tried to pull me down. Don’t get me wrong. I love them a lot, but I figured out that they are not willing to go with me where I’m heading. So right now, I tend to hang around a lot more with positive people who share the same passion as I do, people who are committed to become successful in our industry.

2. Become the Person You Want to Attract – When I started thinking and visualizing that I will become successful, I started to attract successful people in my life. I have a lot of friends now who are really successful in the network marketing industry and in their chosen field. This is a very good benefit for me as I learn a lot from them.

I attract these people because I want to be like them. Successful people will like you in return as you share the same passion and they see themselves in you like when they were just starting in the business.

3. Become a person of VALUE – When you learn some skills that could help other struggling entrepreneurs, do not hesitate to share them. You’ll be surprised as to how fast you will attract people in your life, willing to learn from you. People are programmed to be ATTRACTED to a person who gives value to the people around him.
This, eventually(or instantly), will make you an expert in your chosen industry.

Always devote time to improve yourself by learning new skills and listening to other successful people. Once you become a person of value, you will never have to worry about running out of prospects to talk into joining your business.

4. Qualify the People Around You – When I meet new people, I ask a lot of questions. By doing this, I would know if these people are the ones who I want to work with. If they turn out to be the ones who I’m not looking for, I politely turn them down.

I’m not being rude or something, but why would I want to spend time on people who have no ambitions and goals in life. I’d rather spend my precious time on people who are serious enough in building a business empire. They still end up as my friends though…but I only spend quality time with those who I want to be with.

5. Do Not Argue with Negative People – When someone says something bad about me, my business or the industry, I don’t fight back or argue with them. It’s not worth my time and effort. The truth is, you can’t win in an argument. Nobody wins in an argument. Hearing people say negative things about me just fuels my drive to become even more successful.

If they start to argue, just say you respect their opinion(although you don’t agree) and just change the topic or politely walk away.

 

I hope you’ve learned something from this post. You can apply this everyday in your life and watch as more people will like you and want to be with you. Nobody wants to be with a negative person, right? So be an expert in dealing with negative people.

Empower Network PhilippinesFirstly, let me greet you all a happy and prosperous new year! 2011 has been a great year for us amidst all challenges and hardships.  A lot has happened during the previous year and I couldn’t be more excited to meet the year 2012 with a bang.

I’ve come up with a list of things that I need to do to make 2012 my best year yet. If you want to be more successful this year, this list is yours too.  Follow and read through with all your heart.

Disclaimer: This list is very powerful and following each and everything on the list with all your heart will make you wealthy in all aspects of life. Guaranteed!

1. Leadership is about your INFLUENCE, not your position.
2. Stay fit and healthy like the athletes do.
3. Lift people up instead of dragging them down.
4. Protect your name. It takes a lifetime to build your reputation and just seconds to destroy it.
5. Surround yourself with positive people who share the same passion for success and excellence.
6. Always believe in your dreams even when people laugh at them.
7. Success is measured by your self worth and not your net worth.
8. Take an intelligent risk daily. No guts – no glory.
9. Watch the film called “The Secret.”
10. Always remember that business is all about relationship building and connecting with others.
11. Say “Please” and “Thank you” more.

23. It is better to be a master of a few things than being mediocre in a lot of things.
24. Honor and love your parents.
25. Do work at the best of your ability whether anyone notices it or not. It is the best source of happiness and fulfillness.
26. Give more than you receive.
27. Write down your goals in 1,3,5,10,25 years and review them on a weekly basis.
28. Be patient. Real success cannot be built overnight.
29. Underpromise and overdeliver.
30. Be authentic…not plastic.
31. Always remember that life wants you to win so get out of your own way.
32. Be real. People will fall in love with you when they see you’re real.
33. Behind every fear is your next level of growth and power.

36. Read motivational books/magazines or watch motivational films/videos.
37. Write your own eulogy and live your life backwards.
